Tai Ji Quan: Movement for Better Balance Part 2

Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance is a national evidence-based program which was newly implemented by NDSU Extension in 2021. Tai Ji Quan is designed to improve strength, balance, mobility, and daily function, reducing participants’ risk of falling.
What participants have said: “My sense of balance has improved, and I am much more aware of the positioning of my legs and feet while standing and moving from a standstill. Also, I have noticed a slight improvement in how I stand up from sitting in a chair. I’m much more likely to reposition my weight when I stand. Also, I am much more awre of when and How I am breathing during movement.”
